Singapore-based Wiseasy has launched the T2 EMV Android tablet to help merchants keep up with their business demands.
The tablet was designed to support business agility as well as the deep integration of vertical applications and payments. It is equipped with an Octa-Core 2.0GHz processor and comes with Android 13 right out of the box. It also incorporates tap-on-glass technology and allows customers to perform payments while analysing order-related details, which makes it well-suited for unattended payment scenarios.
As far as security is concerned, Wiseasy T2 includes a fingerprint reader embedded in its power button, which allows users to unlock it via a single touch without having to enter any passwords or codes. According to Wiseasy, the device’s 7000mAh battery is large enough to support more than 10 hours of normal transactions, while a quick-charge system can top up the battery in three hours.
Other noteworthy features include a 3D structured light camera, as well as a professional scanner. In the company press release, officials from Wiseasy highlighted the T2 tablet’s potential to help businesses collect feedback from customers, build customer loyalty, and improve customer experience.

Accessory compatibility
Wiseasy designed the T2 tablet to be mounted on a wall for unattended service or placed on a table for tabletop self-service. The tablet can also pair with a scanner, cash drawer and receipt printer, and it can be integrated into a Swivel Cashier Kit. T2 can also work as a Smart Pinpad to offer a better experience for customers. It also can be integrated into a vending machine.
The product can add payment capabilities to various apps while eliminating merchants’ need for separate hardware components and minimising the up-front and maintenance costs associated with their payment system.
