Wiseasy’s 1st Virtual Chinese New Year Party

2020 went by in the blink of an eye. As the 2021 Chinese New Year approaches, Wiseasy held its very first virtual new year party to celebrate.

The New Year party was live streamed on Dingtalk and Douyin (Chinese version of Tiktok) to practice social distancing. Even though not everyone was able to attend in person, Wiseasy’s live stream room was crowded with hundreds of audience members. The party started with new year greetings from employees across departments.

Wiseasy’s Founder and CEO, Mr. Li Yan noted that it had not been an easy year. With the pandemic influencing everyone’s life one way or another, Wiseasy was still able to thrive and manage to stand firm amid the storm. Taking a stroll down memory lane, Vice President Ms. Lindsay Wang and Mr. Jason Wang both acknowledged the company’s key milestones in the past year, and how everyone kept their spirit high to accomplish unprecedented KPIs.

Overseas departments also sent the Beijing headquarter warm new year messages. Chief Technology Officer Riad Laqlach and General Manager EMEA Rachid Oulad Akdim both delivered warm wishes via Zoom.

For outstanding employees in the company, they were presented awards and cash rewards by senior executives for their contribution and excellency as beacons of the Wiseasy team.

This year’s show was flooded with hidden talents and gems – singing performances, dances, talk shows, and many more. It was a great opportunity for employees to get to know each other outside their typical work environment. 4 different rounds of lucky draws in between show continuously built up the tension and excitement for the climax of the party. It was a time for every employee to dig in the holiday spirit and just have fun. The performances brought joy to everyone, it also brought their hearts closer to each other. No matter senior executives or average employees, they treated and cared for each other like family. Cheers, laughter, and applauses constantly surrounded the live steam room. At that very moment, everyone was proud to be a part of the Wiseasy family.

That was a wrap on 2020! Wiseasy wishes that 2021 is a year filled with hope and success. Whatever surprises and uncertainties tomorrow will bring, the Wiseasy team is always ready for an exciting adventure.
