Petrom Upgrades Mobile Payment Services with Wiseasy

Petrom, Morocco’s oil and gas distributor has been working with Wiseasy since 2017 to provide smart device based payment services to the customers. Recently, with CIH Bank joining in the cooperation, the three parties will upgrade the payment system and bring more value-added services to the more than 280 gasoline stations across the country.

For the Moroccans, this new payment method is innovative, convenient and safe, and provides customers with an opportunity to purchase pump or store products and / or services with cash or bank cards. With Wiseasy’s WPOS-3, customers can use e-wallets of the banks or payment institutions to make payment, by just a few clicks on their mobile phone.

Wiseasy’s Wise Cloud platform will help Petrom to manage WPOS-3 in all the 280 stations in one time such as remote terminal control, maintenance, support, and operation, which greatly saves a lot time and manpower and improves efficiency by avoiding partners to maintain terminals onsite.

It’s while worthy noting that in the special environments like a gas station, WPOS-3 enables stable operation with the anti-explosion design, making it an ideal choice for the harsh and special environments. Every piece of product of Wiseasy from development, to production, and to delivery to each partner, has passed extreme and rigorous tests. WPOS-3 as the flagship product of Wiseasy has been widely used in many scenarios.

“This payment solution has been developed and implemented in close cooperation with Wiseasy and CIH bank, which will be enriched by other value-added services provided to customers”. Based on WPOS-3 and payment services provided in collaboration with Lana cash, a subsidiary of CIH bank’s Payment institutions, the gas stations can easily recruit customers, generate invoices and carry out customer loyalty programs.

“The purpose of this collaboration is to launch a new form of cooperation to accelerate the digitization of the entire value chain for the benefit of partners and customers,” said ISSAM alloul, director of Petrom information systems.
