Wang POS product series displaying China’s power
In recent years, the development of mobile payment in China has captured wide attention worldwide. Called one of the “new four great inventions” of China, mobile payment is penetrating each and every industry worldwide, and is gradually changing the habit of making payment. Driven by a number of excellent enterprises, China is leading the world in making innovations in intelligent payment terminals. Wiseasy is one of such enterprises.
As usual, Wiseasy decorated its exhibition booths with two colors – blue and white, and highlighted a Minimalistic and open style to bring visitors a panoramic experience of mobile payment. The three “good-looking” flagship products of Wiseasy on exhibition aroused visitors’ interest. Wang POS-3, a fashionable and refined-looking Internet POS Terminal, is granted with two international industrial design awards –“Red Point” in Germany and “iF”. It is not only China’s first Internet intelligent terminal fully certified by UnionPay, but also granted with international security certificates in credit card industry like PCI PTS and EMVCo. It is very popular with users in both China and other countries and regions.
Another “iF” winner is Wang POS – TAB, an intelligent business terminal, which is also the only full screen-touching safe commercial platform certified by UnionPay in China. The third product is Wang POS – MINI, a handheld cloud terminal integrating the cashier functions of Wang POS – 3 and Wang POS – Tab, and functions like intercom and redlight QR-scanning. It can be widely applied in catering, retailing, gas-station, roadside parking and many other scenarios.
Europe – Next market for Internet-based POS
This year, Alipay put forward an inspiring viewpoint: It hopes it can promote China enter the “cashless society” within five years. In fact, however, some countries in north Europe and west Europe are nearly entering the “cashless society”, including Denmark, Sweden and Britain. In these countries, cashless payment generally accounts for more than 80 percent of all forms of payment. Cash has disappeared from many occasions where it was used. For example, the Danish government formally stipulates that from 2017 onward, Except for critical service organizations such as hospitals and pharmacies, business shops in Denmark have the right to cancel cash payment services and accept electronic currency only.
The soil suited for the use of this “cashless” payment also provides a huge market for the development of Internet-based POS in Europe. In just one year, the Internet-based POS products developed by Weipass have appeared in Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, Britain and other European areas, and they are used in the fields including tourism, payment, banking, acquiring business, among others. At this exhibition, Wang POS, a piece of intelligent hardware equipment developed by Wiseasy, is used by software and payment manufacturers from Russia and other countries and regions.
Mr. Ma Guowei, co-founder of Wiseasy and its vice-president and chief engineer, said at the exhibition: “Europe has always been one of the most valued overseas markets for Wiseasy. It is arguably the pioneer of cashless payment, and is more acceptable to Internet POS products than the countries in other regions. In recent years, Weipass has been working hard to achieve seamless connection between payment and vertical industries across the national boundaries. It is our hope that more European partners can benefit from the payment development that is mobile, suited to different scenarios, and intelligent.”
